What Is An Enterprise Center?
The Greenville Area
Enterprise Center is a unique business facility
supported by a comprehensive portfolio of technical
office support and management services.
The primary objective of the Center is to assist
emerging businesses to grow and become successful in
a short period of time.
The Enterprise Center is a flexible use facility,
which offers low cost rental for start-up companies.
A tenant can rent from 100 to 8,000 square feet with
both short term and long term leases available.
An array of business services important to the
success of new companies is available. These

Support Services Available
The Center provides a
wide range of support services to nurture the
development and subsequent independence of new
emerging businesses. The Center has a full time
manager available to assist tenants in solving
business problems including obtaining information
on:

The Center also has
a small loan program available to elgible tenants
for short term needs.
The Cost
Most services
offered are included in the base rent. Nominal fees
are charged for the use of office equipment.
Manufacturing space rents begin at $3.00 per square
feet per annum and office space rents begin at
$10.00 per square feet per annum. Tenants are
responsible for their own utilities and insurance.
Physical Facility Attributes
The Enterprise
Center is a 32,000 square foot building with 2,600
square feet of finished office space. The building
has two loading docks, 20 foot ceilings, sprinkler
systems, public utilities, three phase wiring,
120/240 volts, Reznor gas fired heaters, central air
conditioning.
Where We Are Located
The Enterprise
Center is located in the Reynolds Industrial Park,
just off State Route 18 - ten miles from Interstate
80/Route 60. The building is situated on the corner
of 3rd and Brentwood Drive in a very attractive
setting.
Who Is Eligible
Anyone interested
in starting a manufacturing company or doing
research & development in a technology area is
welcome to apply. You will be asked to prepare a
business plan which will be reviewed by an advisory
panel. Once accepted, you will have access to the
broad spectrum of services available and be on your
way to creating a successful venture.
Sponsors Of The Center
The Greenville Area
Economic Development Corporation is the main sponsor
of this facility. The Corporation was formed in 1983
and is composed of volunteers from the Mercer County
area who donate their time to promote economic
development.
GAEDC's major purpose is to help foster the
development of new businesses, retain existing
businesses in the area and create new job
opportunities for our citizens.
The Corporation also successfully operates the
William D. McNeilly Business Center. Started in
1985, this Center has aided 32 companies in
establishing operations in the county.
